Casciano addressed the impact of changing federal incentives on renewable energy adoption, emphasizing the importance of acting within set timelines to maximize benefits. “Our purpose is to optimize energy and reduce costs,” he said. “We’re talking to our customers about that and we’re just trying to share with them the timeline they should not miss out on this opportunity to take advantage of these incentives.”

He also highlighted the critical role of education in helping customers make informed energy decisions. “This is about really getting the message out. People don’t understand energy, where it comes from, what the opportunities are, so the education to me has to be in the forefront.”

The discussion also explored topics such as supply chain pressures, the role of energy storage in supporting grid reliability, rate impacts, and strategies for aligning policy with economic growth. Other panelists included leaders from Phillips Lytle LLP, Stark Tech, LED Energy Solutions, EnergyMark, and Montante Solar.
